Offshore wind – exploring business opportunities in South-East Asia.

NBAS, Innovation Norway, Kongsberg Maritime and Norwegian Energy Partners, in collaboration with Equinor, Norwegian Offshore Wind Cluster, AOS Offshore, Rystad Energy, Sembcorp Marine, Asia Wind Energy Association, Recharge, Keppel FELS and Aker Offshore Wind, are hosting a special insights panel Offshore wind. Broadcasted live on the 24th February, we will address the topic of energy transitions and offshore wind.

Offshore wind is a crucial part of the energy transition. In the South East Asian region, many countries consider offshore wind a long-term solution to decarbonize the electricity sectors. We will seek to answer three central questions:

  • What are the market opportunities for offshore wind in Southeast Asia?
  • What is the potential for Singapore to be the regional hub in offshore wind projects in Southeast Asia?
  • What is the unique competence Norwegian companies in Norway and Singapore can bring to the table in offshore wind projects?

We will explore these issues in our special insights panel, broadcasted live, from 3-4.30 pm (SGT). There will be Q/A opportunities throughout the session.

Date: Wednesday, 24th February 2021
Time: 3-4.30 PM (SGT)
