Laurence Odfjell was among the heavyweights joining the NBAS board when NBAS hosted its Annual General Meeting at Techlab by Innovation Norway on 30 March. The AGM ensured continuity in the central leadership. President Leonard Stornes was re-elected for two years, together with Treasurer Torgeir Willumsen and board member Ronny Waage.
In addition, the AGM elected heavyweights within a circular economy, maritime sector, tech, venture capital, and marketing.

Laurence Odfjell
Laurence Ward Odfjell is Executive Chairman of Odfjell SE. The Odfjell Group is a leading player in the global market for seaborne transportation and storage of chemicals and other specialty bulk liquids.

Bing Zhao
Bing Zhao heads Tomra’s business in Asia, the leading player in the circular economy. She brings diverse experience from the environmental and finance industry and across geographies with her multicultural background as a Norwegian-Chinese.

William Klippgen
William Klippgen is Managing Partner, Co-Founder at Cocoon Capital. Cocoon is a Singapore-based early-stage venture firm investing in Southeast Asia’s smartest B2B e-commerce, fintech, SaaS & deep tech founders. The aim is to move them quickly to Series A and beyond.

Marie Pettersson
Marie Pettersson has over 20 years of experience in the IT/Telecom industry, holding strategic positions in Sales and Marketing. Today she is leading the expansion of traceability- and product digitization software company Kezzler in the Asia Pacific.

The impact of war: Manu Bhaskaran, Devadas Krishnadas, and Dr. Deborah Elms discussed the impact on Singapore and the SEA region of the war in Europe.

Business Climate Survey: IN - director Paul Kastmann spoke about Norwegian companies' outlook on Singapore.

In good order: His Excellency Ambassador Eivind S. Homme, complimented a proactive association and emphasized the good collaboration in Team Norway.
