Senior Vice President

Knut Ola Skotvedt is a Senior Corporate Analyst and Corporate Responsibility Ambassador in DNB Bank’s Ocean Industries Division, with 25+ years of experience in Shipping, Offshore, and Logistics in Oslo, Athens, and Singapore. He is responsible for market intelligence, sustainability policies, and the implementation of the Poseidon Principles at DNB. Knut also represents the bank in other sustainability initiatives and holds a Business Degree and Political Science degree from the Norwegian School of Management and the University of Oslo, respectively.

Head of Global Operations

Tord Brath has served as Head of Global Operations since 2005. Previously, Mr. Brath was Deputy/Senior Operations Manager in D/S Norden AS and a vessel operator within the AP Møller Group. A nautical foundation underscores Mr. Brath’s expertise: he sailed four years as a Deck Officer during his maritime education from NTNU Åleslund and has a Deck Officer Class 1, Sea Captain Certificate

Anglo American Group is based in Singapore, and is a founding signatory of the Sea Cargo Charter and a partner of the Global Maritime Forum. Peter is responsible of all Anglo American’s ocean freight activity.

Peter joined Anglo American in 2012 with a strong focus on enhancing and growing the ocean freight activity and capability within the Group across the three foundational elements of safety, sustainability and commercial excellence.  Today Anglo American Shipping is a leading charterer and operator in the dry bulk sector and handles over 75Mt of cargo across 700 plus voyages per annum.

Cristina Saenz de Santa Maria, DNV [MODERATOR] VP, Regional Manager South East Asia, Pacific & India, Maritime

Cristina Saenz de Santa Maria has extensive experience in the maritime industry, specifically with DNV GL. She has held various positions within the company, including CEO Office Senior Consultant and Area Manager for Africa, and has worked on projects related to business integration, compensation and benefits coordination, legal entity efficiency, and more. Cristina also holds an MBA from IE Business School and a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
