Singapore is home to more than 300 Norwegian companies and one of the largest Norwegian business communities outside Norway. Behind these strong business ties are the connections that allow people, ideas and opportunities to move between the two countries.
At the Singapore–Norway Innovation Conference 2026, Finnair joins the NBAS community as the Morning Break Sponsor. Taking place on 4 November at Amara Singapore, SNIC brings together leaders from government, industry and investment to strengthen collaboration across business, technology and innovation.
Through its Helsinki hub, Finnair connects Asia with Northern Europe and offers travellers from Singapore convenient onward access to its growing network across Norway. For the NBAS community, these connections support business travel, partnerships and closer engagement between the two markets.
Finnair’s Norwegian network includes established commercial and cultural centres such as Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim, together with Kirkenes and Tromsø in the Arctic North. The network expanded further in 2026 with new connections to Alta and Stavanger, together with a seasonal service to Bodø during the peak summer travel period.

Discover More of Northern Norway
Finnair’s new route to Alta provides greater access to one of Northern Norway’s most distinctive destinations. Surrounded by Arctic landscapes, Alta is known for its outdoor adventures, rich cultural heritage and opportunities to experience the northern lights. The service operates via Kittilä five times a week between 29 March and 22 October 2026.

Connections to Tromsø were also extended into the summer 2026 season, with five weekly flights from Helsinki via Rovaniemi. Finnair also increased its summer services between Ivalo and Kirkenes to five flights per week.

These northern routes make it easier for travellers to combine several Arctic destinations, nature experiences and coastal voyages across Northern Scandinavia within a single journey.
“Northern destinations increasingly attract travellers seeking authentic nature experiences also in the summer.”
Perttu Jolma, Vice President Network at Finnair
Connecting Business and Leisure Across the Region
Beyond the Arctic North, Finnair’s network connects travellers with Norway’s major business and cultural centres.
Oslo serves as the country’s political and economic capital, while Bergen offers a gateway to the western fjords. Trondheim combines a strong technology and research environment with a rich cultural history. The addition of Stavanger further strengthens connectivity to southwestern Norway, an important centre for the energy, maritime and offshore industries.
By bringing these diverse destinations within closer reach through Helsinki, Finnair is supporting business ties and tourism between Asia and the Nordic region.
Finnair’s participation at SNIC 2026 highlights the practical importance of connectivity in sustaining an international business community and bringing people together across borders.
