Renowned chef Jo Bøe Klakegg is set to bring his culinary talents to The Annual Seafood Dinner in Singapore on 29 September. Klakegg has worked at several world-class restaurants, including Noma and Bagatelle, and is known for his innovative and creative approach to cooking seafood.
Klakegg’s career in the restaurant industry began with his time at Bagatelle in Oslo , where he worked under the tutelage of Eyvind Hellstrøm. He then moved on to Noma in Copehagen, where he spent several formative years improving his craft. After his time at Noma, Klakegg returned to Oslo and opened Fauna, which earned a Michelin star under his leadership alongside Bjørn Svensson.
In 2018, Klakegg opened his own restaurant, Hotshop, which has quickly become one of the best restaurants in Oslo. Hotshop was awarded a Michelin star in 2022, cementing Klakegg’s reputation as one of the most talented chefs of his generation.
