Organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Singapore Maritime Week 2026 (SMW 2026) is one of Asiaβs premier maritime events, gathering international industry leaders, innovators and policymakers to foster networking and collaboration. It also acts as a key platform for companies to showcase digitalisation and decarbonisation technologies to an engaged maritime audience.
The last edition attracted 35,000 participants from over 100 countries and regions, including more than 70 government and port authorities.
During SMW 2026, Team Norway will once again have a strong presence in Singapore through the Norway Pavilion, industry forums, partner events and curated networking platforms throughout the week.

The evening features a curated vernissage from Seafarer Stories 2025/26: Show Us Your World β CFARERβs photo competition, built on images submitted by seafarers worldwide. The exhibition offers an unfiltered perspective on life at sea and brings the people who keep global trade moving into the centre of the industry conversation. The reception also creates space for dialogue on crew wellbeing and responsible shipping, anchored by contributions from leading maritime organisations. The programme will cover key developments in the maritime transition, including AI applications, maritime autonomy, green shipping corridors, alternative fuels, and harbour craft electrification with charging infrastructure. Participants will gain actionable insights from industry leaders in Singapore and Norway, and learn from Norwegian case studies showcasing scalable, commercially viable solutions. The forum also provides a platform to foster meaningful partnerships between Singaporean and Norwegian stakeholders. This is a closed-door event.
