From top Honor at Bocuse d’Or to the Norwegian Seafood Dinner
We are thrilled to announce that Filip Bendi, fresh off top honors at the prestigious Bocuse d’Or this year, will join the team led by Marcus Dybwad at The Annual Norwegian Seafood Dinner in Singapore.
Born and raised in Sandnes, Norway, Bendi has had a unique culinary journey that has taken him from washing dishes at To Glass in Haugesund to working at some of the world’s most renowned restaurants.
Bendi, who was announced Chef of the Year in Norway in 2021, is the creative developer for Thon Hotels based at Hotel Bristol in Oslo.
The 34-year-old’s culinary journey has included working at leading restaurants such as Noma in Copenhagen, Mathias Dahlgren Matsalen in Stockholm, and Daniel in New York. In addition, he has gained extensive experience working in different culinary environments, from fine dining to more casual settings, honing his skills and developing his unique style.
Now, Bendi is part of Dybwad’s team that will be showcasing their culinary expertise using the finest ingredients from Snorre food at The Annual Seafood Dinner in Singapore on September 29 this year. Known for his exceptional ability to combine flavors, Bendi will undoubtedly bring his signature creativity and innovation to the event.
