Wilhelmsen Ship Management: 50 Years and a New Singapore Office

Wilhelmsen Ship Management marked 50 years of maritime excellence and welcomed the community to its new Singapore office—a space that now brings the Ship Management and Port Services teams together under one roof. This year’s Christmas Cocktail Reception was a wonderful opportunity to gather in the new premises.
Wikborg Rein: Celebrating 25 Years in Singapore

Wikborg Rein celebrated an important chapter, marking 25 years in Singapore. The anniversary was shared with the NBAS community during the Singapore Norway Innovation Conference (SNIC), where they generously hosted the lunch. The occasion reflected their long-standing commitment to Singapore’s legal and business landscape.
Kongsberg Maritime: 50 Years of DP and a SNIC Partnership Award

Kongsberg Maritime celebrated an important global achievement this year—50 years since signing its first dynamic positioning (DP) contract. The anniversary was marked with cake across KM offices worldwide, including in Singapore.
Kongsberg Maritime also jointly received the inaugural “Partnership of the Year” award at SNIC, together with PSA Marine. The award recognises the strategic partnership between both organisations to enhance harbour pilot training in Singapore through advanced simulator technology. This achievement underscores the value of cross-border cooperation in driving innovation and building a more sustainable future for the maritime industry.
The Norwegian Seamen’s Mission: 70 Years of Community Support

The Norwegian Seamen’s Mission celebrated its 70th anniversary, a milestone honouring seven decades of support for seafarers, students and families since 1955. A festive weekend of music, fellowship and seafood brought the community together, and at SNIC their team once again delighted attendees with freshly made Norwegian waffles.
Kongsberg Norcontrol: New Office Supporting Regional Growth

Kongsberg Norcontrol launched its new Singapore office with a vibrant celebration blending Singaporean and Norwegian traditions. The milestone builds on Kongsberg’s 35-year history in Singapore and highlights the country’s continued role as a strategic hub for the company in Southeast Asia.
General Oceans: Expanding Regional Presence with New Singapore Office

New NBAS member General Oceans, parent company of multiple underwater technology brands including Nortek, Tritech International Ltd and Klein Marine Systems, opened a new sales office in Singapore, strengthening their global presence and underscoring their commitment to Singapore and the wider region.
Pelagus 3D: Advancing Additive Manufacturing and Global Collaboration

Pelagus 3D also marked a significant year of milestones and expansion. The company returned to the stage at SNIC just two years after its launch, sharing significant progress including the commencement of Phase 3 of the Joint Industry Project launched by the Maritime Port Authority of Singapore and the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC). Pelagus further expanded its presence locally with the inauguration of a new office, an occasion marked together with representatives from the Royal Norwegian Embassy.
Pelagus also strengthened the Norway–Singapore collaboration on the global stage. At Nor-Shipping, the company joined Wilhelmsen to present their shared vision for the future of maritime spare parts innovation. Their presence at Kormarine under Team Norway further broadened their international visibility and deepened their connections across the wider maritime ecosystem.
Dualog: Strengthening Digital Work at Sea

After celebrating 30 years in shipping, Dualog entered a new chapter in 2025 with several important releases that deliver solutions for secure and efficient work at sea. These developments give every seafarer a personal digital environment and a more comfortable sailing experience.
Dualog also hosted the Dualog Conference in Singapore, which explored how digital standardisation, crew welfare and security compliance can be strengthened across the region.
Dualog views the Singapore–Norway community as a valuable platform for partnership and knowledge sharing. The company is excited to build its next chapter, from developing unified solutions for efficient fleetwide collaboration, to strengthening secure and convenient digital work environments for every seafarer and adopting AI across Dualog services.
Assentiri: A Breakthrough Year for Virtual Ship Closings

2025 was an important year for Assentiri as it launched the Assentiri Virtual Closing Room, a purpose-built Microsoft Teams application that allows all parties to prepare, table, review, sign and date delivery documents in one secure workspace — marking a clear shift away from email-driven and often insecure workflows in the sale and purchase of vessels.
With a presence in both Singapore and Norway, Assentiri has been active across the maritime community throughout the year, including during Nor-Shipping in Oslo. These strong footholds in two key maritime hubs provide a solid foundation for further growth in 2026 and beyond.
Axess Singapore: A Year of Strategic Wins and Regional Growth

2025 was a landmark year for Axess Singapore, marked by strategic wins, operational excellence and close cross-entity collaboration.
During the year, Axess delivered Brazilian regulatory compliance services to major shipyards in Asia for six FPSOs, coordinating audits and approvals ahead of sail-away. The team also provided lifting equipment certification and integrity management services for a Norwegian client, as well as operational readiness support across three FPSOs, two FPUs and one FLNG through effective multi-entity collaboration.
Axess further strengthened its regional presence with the establishment of a new entity in Malaysia, deepening client partnerships and positioning the company as a regional integrator for complex offshore projects across the Asia Pacific.

As we close an eventful 2025, our members are not only reflecting on achievements but also gearing up for an exciting year ahead. Several key initiatives and anniversaries are already on the horizon for 2026, signalling continued momentum for the Norway–Singapore partnership. Here are some developments the community is preparing for.
TMC Compressors Asia: A Decade of Growth in Singapore

In 2026, TMC Compressors Asia will celebrate a decade in Singapore. Since 2016, the company has grown from a regional support unit into a strategic hub for marine and offshore compressor solutions, working in close partnership with its Norway headquarters.
This strong Singapore–Norway connection has supported TMC’s expanded engineering, project management and aftersales capabilities, enabling the team to deliver major newbuild and retrofit projects across Korea, China and Southeast Asia, as well as introduce energy-efficient and low-emission compressor technologies.
As it enters its next decade, TMC Compressors Asia is preparing for further regional expansion and new solutions that support green shipping, digitalisation and decarbonisation.
TOMRA: Preparing for Singapore’s Beverage Container Return Scheme

As Singapore prepares to launch its Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS) in April 2026, TOMRA is engaging closely with stakeholders and industry partners to support the rollout of the country’s first Deposit Return System. The initiative is an important step in Singapore’s Zero Waste journey, and TOMRA looks forward to contributing to meaningful environmental progress across Asia.
