Highlights From Nbas In 2025

A Year of Connections and Innovation: Highlights from NBAS in 2025

2025 was a year where NBAS brought people together through networking, knowledge exchange, and innovation-focused events. From the launch of TINE in Singapore and the Clipper Eris setting sail as the world’s first vessel equipped with a full-scale carbon capture facility for pilot testing, to our Tech Circle series and a community dialogue with NBIM CEO Nicolai Tangen, the year was rich with learning and collaboration. Our flagship events, the Norwegian Seafood Dinner and the Singapore Norway Innovation Conference (SNIC), remained anchor moments in the NBAS calendar, drawing strong participation and showcasing the best of our community’s engagement and spirit.

TINE Arrives in Singapore

We kicked off 2025 with a delicious milestone: a welcome dinner celebrating the official launch of TINE’s Norwegian dairy products in Singapore. TINE’s premium cheeses are now available in various Fairprice stores and online channels, bringing the authentic taste of Norway to local homes and restaurants.

Maritime Innovation: Clipper Eris Launches with Carbon Capture Technology

In January 2025, the Clipper Eris, owned by Solvang ASA of Stavanger, became the world’s first ship equipped with a full-scale carbon capture facility ready for pilot testing. The groundbreaking technology, developed by Wärtsilä in Moss, Norway, represents a major step toward greener shipping. The project team visited Singapore’s Seatrium shipyard to officially set sail and mark the start of this potentially game-changing initiative for the global maritime industry.
