Dear NBAS members and friends,
we have a busy program this autumn and hoping to see many of you over the course of the next few months! Below is an overview of our events and a sneak peak to our key events for Spring 2016.
23 September: NBAS Breakfast Seminar Telenor‘s Asian Journey by Tor Odland at The Fullerton Hotel 8.30-10am (registration still open here).
13 October: The Sound of Nordic with Ole Edvard Antonsen and Band at Victoria Concert Hall 8pm (tickets sold via SISTIC website). NBAS members get 10% discount using the promo code ‘antonsen’ at checkout.
21 October: Peer Gynt Open Golf Tournament at Sentosa for NBAS members and their guests (more information here).
30 October: S A V E T H E D A T E – Statoil’s Eirk Wærness (Cheif Economist and Vice President) and Olav Kolbeinstveit (Head of Market Analyst) will discuss “Short Term Pain – Or Long Term Gain? Is the current market situation sustainable?”. Wærness and Kolbeinstveit will explore the underlying factors behind the current low prices in oil and gas markets, including:
- Drivers for short-term change on the supply and demand side, focusing on shale oil and gas development, geopolitics, Opec strategy, Russia, LNG etc.
- Key uncertainties going forward
- Long-term demand for oil and gas in different scenarios for global energy developments

November (date TBA): Frank Wedde from Memolife with a “Date your brain” mental performance seminar. More info and invitation to be provided shortly.
4 March 2016: Norwegian Seafood Dinner 2016 at Raffles City Convention Centre, The Fairmont Ballroom.
12-14 April 2016: Norway-Asia Business Summit 2016 at The Fullerton Hotel. The 6th edition of the popular summit will take place in Singapore. More information will follow.
