As the maritime industry accelerates toward a cleaner and smarter future, Yinson GreenTech is taking electrification from concept to commercial reality. Building on Singapore’s strong innovation ecosystem and deep maritime heritage, the company is shaping a more sustainable future for port logistics.
This year, Yinson GreenTech joins SNIC 2025 to mark a special milestone – the launch of the all-new Hydromover 2.0, the company’s next generation of fully-electric light cargo vessel developed through its marine electrification solutions business, marinEV.

The Hydromover 2.0 will make its debut at SNIC 2025, showcasing the vessel’s significant leap forward in efficiency, performance, and sustainability. The vessel is also equipped with the latest electrification and digitalisation technology, providing unparalleled precision in maritime navigation, setting the benchmark for Singapore’s vessels of the future. During the conference, Jan-Viggo Johansen, Managing Director of marinEV, will present on the vessel and share insights into how electrification and digitalisation are shaping the future of maritime logistics.

Pioneering the Future of Electric Port Logistics
The Hydromover 2.0 builds on the success of the Hydromover, Singapore’s first fully electric cargo vessel, advancing significantly in range, faster charging speeds, and a significant larger deck without compromising on weight or performance. More than just a vessel, it represents a connected, data-driven ecosystem that integrates real-time analytics, smart routing, and an integrated vessel management platform – demonstrating how technology and sustainability can come together to transform port operations.
“Innovation, digitalisation, and strong partnerships are already transforming maritime logistics, not only as future ambitions, but as real solutions in motion today. SNIC is a fitting platform to showcase this progress, where collaboration drives Singapore’s vision of a decarbonised, digitally connected port ecosystem. Through marinEV, Yinson GreenTech is proud to help turn that vision into reality.”
– Jan-Viggo Johansen, Managing Director of marinEV
Celebrating Innovation — Together
Following the presentation, Yinson GreenTech and NBAS will co-host the SNIC Cocktail Party, celebrating both the launch of Hydromover 2.0 and the spirit of Singapore–Norway collaboration in maritime innovation. The gathering will bring together industry leaders, innovators, and partners driving the global energy transition.
We invite you to connect with Jan-Viggo and the Yinson GreenTech team at SNIC on 6 November. Whether you are exploring opportunities in maritime electrification, advancing digital port operations, or seeking partners in clean-energy innovation, Yinson GreenTech’s story is one to follow.
