This year, Dr. Akanksha Batura Pai takes the stage as one of our emcees at SNIC 2025, where she will lead us through the conference’s central theme: ‘Navigating in a Changing Maritime World’. With her engaging presence and influential voice in the maritime sector, Akanksha will guide an afternoon of insightful panels and dynamic discussions that reflect the evolving tides of global shipping and innovation.
Akanksha is a distinguished figure in the maritime industry. She recently ranked #1 in the prestigious Top 100 Women in Shipping by AllAboutShipping and was identified as one of “10 Women to Watch” by Nor-Shipping in Oslo. These recognitions are a testament to her pioneering and her unwavering commitment to shaping the future of the maritime industry.
Her leadership extends beyond accolades. Akanksha serves as Vice Chairperson of the Singapore Shipping Association’s International Committee and is the International Maritime Organization Goodwill Maritime Ambassador Emerita representing Singapore. In her roles as Executive Director of Sinoda Shipping Agency, Strategy Head at Raks International and Partner at Seamind Blue Ocean, she drives long-term strategic growth, champions innovation and advances sustainability.
Akanksha’s voice will be instrumental in weaving together perspectives from Norway and Singapore, spotlighting innovation, and fostering collaboration.
